In this video I’m going to show you How To Turn Your Website Contact Page Into A Lead Generating Machine.

Instead of a having an old, boring Contact Page, where prospective clients have to fill out a web form then wait for a response after completing the contact form, why not start an immediate conversation?

And, if you have a Chatbot, you can do just that by linking your Contact Button so it will open Messenger in a new tab, where it will automatically begin a conversation with your Chatbot.

Here’s how…

Step 1…

In this example, I’m using Manychat because that’s my favorite Messenger platform.

Click on Growth Tools. Then, click on “New Growth Tools.”

Enter Widget name. I’m going to name this ‘Website Contact Link’. And select Messenger Ref URL.

Click on the Edit button, which will bring up the starting step.

Since I already have a Book A Call Flow I want to direct prospective clients, I’ve created a condition that tags Agency Book A Call. And, starts the Agency Book A Call flow.

Be sure to click Publish. Then, Preview the Flow to test it.

If all looks good, go back to the Widget and make sure it is active and Click on Setup.

Click on ‘Copy URL to Clipboard’. Then head over to your website.

Step 2…

Most businesses use WordPress, arguably the most popular website platform in the world.

In the dashboard, click on Appearance. Then Menus.

Click on Custom Links. Paste the Messenger Ref URL in the URL block, add the text Contact Us in the Link Text and click the button Add to Menu.

Move the Contact Us button to where you’d like for it to appear on your navigation menu and click Save Menu.

Open up your website to test that the contact us link directs to Messenger and your chatbot.

Now, instead of having a generic boring web form, you have a much newer, way cooler and more personal method of communication you can start a conversation with a prospective client.
